Want massive daily data value on the days you use your phone? Start from $2 a day with a $2 auto charge for another 524MB if you run out of data. You can recharge from as little as $10, which has a 30 day expiry ($30 and above recharges have a 6 month expiry) and includes low international call rates with no flagfall.
You won’t pay for a Daily Level if you don’t use your phone for included usage types. The $2 Daily Level is charged on the first outbound standard national call, SMS, MMS, Voicemail, music streaming or data use each day after 12:00am (local time).
Optus will auto charge you $2 for another 524MB if you run out of the 500MB included in the Daily Level. You will only be auto charged to a maximum of $4/1GB for the day.
Reached the auto charge maximum for the day? Buy more data via the My Optus app or SMS "MENU" to 9999. $2 for 500MB (expires at the same time as your Daily Level, 11:59pm local time).
Surprisingly low international call rates with no flagfall. International calls do not trigger the Daily Level. They will simply be deducted from your MyCredit. For rates please see optus.com.au/prepaidint
Any usage that is excluded from your Daily Level will be deducted from your available MyCredit balance. Excluded usage types do not trigger the Daily Level to be charged.
Recharges that start from $10 have 30 days expiry, and recharges $30+ have 6 months expiry.
The Optus 4G Plus network is available in all capital cities and hundreds of metro, regional and holiday towns with a compatible device and plan. Coverage varies by device. Check coverage at optus.com.au/coverage and our Prepaid plans at optus.com.au/prepaidplans
All for use in Australia. Fair Go Policy applies. Days end at 11.59pm local time. $10 recharge has 30 days expiry.
The $2 Daily Level is charged on the first outbound standard national call, SMS, MMS, Voicemail, music streaming or data use each day. Some phones are set to seek data automatically, and this will cause the Daily Level to be charged. Please check your phone settings. If you use more than the included data in the $2 Daily Level, we’ll auto charge you another $2 for 524MB data (total 1GB/$4) to use in the day. International, roaming and non-standard calls and usage will be charged at different rates from your MyCredit.

Optus is Australia’s second largest mobile phone service provider, and with good reason. Despite facing enormous competition, Optus has made enormous investments in the reach and quality of its phone network across the country, and now can boast 98.5% population coverage and blazing fast network speeds on its 4G Plus network.
The Optus phone plan range includes all of the options available elsewhere.
Similar to the other big Australia phone service providers, Optus phone plans are packed with extra features and bonus offers. In general these plan features are available on all Optus plans, but there are exceptions, so make sure you keep an eye out for features you want when selecting a plan.
Optus customers wth a My Plan Plus phone plan get exclusive access to all 380 English Premiere League football matches each season via the dedicated Optus Sport app for iOS and Android. On top of this, you can also watch live Cricket Australia matches too.
Optus Sport is included for free with phone plans of $45 or more, and on certain home broadband plans.
Data-free video and music streaming
While other providers might give you a limited-time subscription to a single streaming service (like Apple Music) Optus customers get to stream content from a huge number of these services for free, including Netflix, Stan and Spotify.
Data-free streaming is available on all Optus postpaid phone plans, including SIM Only plans. If you choose an Optus Prepaid Ultimate Plan you get free music streaming and up to 10GB of video streaming each month.
If you have multiple Optus postpaid phone plans on the same account you can pool all of the data from these plans together and share it across all of these services. This is great for families where you might have a single high-data plan and several lower cost plans sharing the data pool/. It is also a great idea if you use multiple internet devices, like phones, tablets and laptops.
International Phone Calls
Optus is one of the more generous providers for anyone who needs international phone calls as part of their phone plan. Most Optus phone plans include at least some international call credit, with several offering unlimited calls and SMS.
Included international calling destinations include: Austria, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA and Vietnam.
